Join us on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, from 9:00 AM–3:00 PM in Choctaw, Mississippi, for a FREE, hands-on training designed to help Nutrition Professionals bring more local foods into their cafeterias and meal programs.

The Mississippi Farm to School Network is proud to co-host this training event with the Institute of Child Nutrition and the Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians Department of Early Childhood.

During this 6-hour professional development training, participants will learn how to:

• Source seasonal, locally grown foods

• Safely prepare, process, and store fresh local produce

• Incorporate local foods into school and child nutrition menus

• Strengthen Farm to School and Farm to ECE programs

• Connect and share ideas with fellow Mississippi Nutrition Professionals

Registration is free, but space is limited to 40 participants. All attendees will receive a certificate documenting six hours of professional development upon completion.
