Are you passionate about youth leadership, local food systems, and building healthier communities across Mississippi? Mississippi Farm to School Network is excited to offer two paid, remote internship opportunities for 2026.

With support from the CDC-funded Healthy Kids, Healthy Future Technical Assistance Program, led by Nemours Children’s Health, in partnership with the Association of State Public Health Nutritionists, the 2025 Mississippi Sprouts program explored how early investments in Farm to Early Care and Education programs impact young children’s future health, and how building reciprocal community relationships strengthen that work.

The Mississippi Farm to School Network is excited to announce the final round of our Garden Box Donation Program! This program provides schools and programs across Mississippi with aluminum raised garden boxes to help start or expand their school gardens.

Over 18,800 students from 86 Mississippi schools celebrated Farm to School Week by serving local foods and hosting hands-on garden activities connecting farms and communities.

Since 2014, the Mississippi Farm to School Network has been working to connect schools and early childcare centers with local farmers. This means more locally grown, nutrient-dense food for kids and more support for farmers in our state.
