Host a Farm Day: A Farmer’s Toolkit

As part of the Women, Livestock, and the Land project for farmers and ranchers in Mississippi, Alabama, Louisiana, Florida, and Georgia, NCAT and the Food Animal Concerns Trust (FACT) developed a resource titled Host a Farm Day: A Farmer's Toolkit. This free guide highlights how field days provide farms with a chance to showcase sustainable practices, enhance awareness, and build consumer trust. The toolkit includes various resources for setting event goals, detailed planning recommendations, and biosecurity tips to help manage the HPAI virus.
