Youth Leadership Meet ’n Learn: Live Cooking Class with Chef Nah

K–12 students across Mississippi are invited to cook, learn, and have fun in a Live Cooking class with professional chef and educator Nah Taylor, right from your own kitchen! This hands-on class is a fun way to explore cooking, healthy ingredients, and new flavors.

Join us on Monday, January 26, from 4:30 to 5:30 pm, as students will cook along on Zoom, preparing chicken burgers and sweet potato fries, with a vegan BBQ black-eyed pea burger option available.

Chef Nah Taylor (they/them) from Oxford, Mississippi, has over 15 years of experience bringing nourishing, flavor-forward food to communities across North Mississippi and Memphis.

This event is open to K–12 students who sign up for the Mississippi Farm to School Youth Leadership Cohort, which meets monthly to explore nutrition, gardening, food systems, and agriculture.

Sign up today, and we’ll follow up with the Zoom link, recipes, grocery and supply lists, and more. We can’t wait to cook and connect with you!
