Host a Youth Community Day in 2026!

The Mississippi Farm to School Network is excited to host two Youth Community Days in 2026, one in June and one in September (exact dates coming soon). We are looking for farms or other welcoming community spaces across Mississippi to partner with us to host these fun, hands-on events.

Each Youth Community Day will be a hands-on event for Mississippi youth of all ages, designed to spark curiosity and connection through fun, interactive activities that teach about agriculture, food systems, nutrition, and where their food comes from. We’re seeking spaces that can bring this experience to life in an engaging and meaningful way.

Mississippi Farm to School Network is prepared to offer:

  • An honorarium or venue rental fee for the space

  • Planning activities, outreach, registration, lunch, and other reasonable event-related expenses

  • Flexibility for hosts to be as involved (or hands-off) in the planning process as you’d like
